About Dr. Leena Das

Dr Leena Das is a Consultant Rheumatologist at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) based at North Manchester General Hospital. She has been practising as a consultant since 2012, bringing over 13 years of specialist experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of rheumatological conditions.

Dr Das completed her MBBS, followed by MRCP (UK) and an MSc, equipping her with both clinical expertise and research acumen. She is a Principal Investigator across multiple rheumatological clinical trials, contributing to advancing treatments for conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and other autoimmune diseases.

As an Educational and Clinical Supervisor for Rheumatology and general medical trainees, Dr Das plays a key role in training the next generation of rheumatologists. Her commitment to education reflects her dedication to improving patient care through knowledge sharing and evidence-based practice.

Dr Das offers private consultations at The Beaumont Hospital, Bolton (part of Circle Health Group), where she provides comprehensive rheumatological assessments, diagnosis, and ongoing management for patients across Greater Manchester, Lancashire, and the North West.
